The Texas Dental Board requires minimal sedation permit holders (level 1) to obtain 6 hours of continuing education in minimal sedation every 2 years. This course satisfies the SBDE requirement for level 1 permit holders.
Educational Objectives:
- Participants will review how to recognize patients that pose high risk for sedation
- Participants will review safe and effective drug selection
- Participants will review permitting, documentation and monitoring requirements
