This course is designed to provide the audience with an update on potentially malignant disorders (PMDs) and malignant lesions affecting the oral cavity. The primary focus will center around leukoplakia and oral squamous cell carcinoma (SCCa), including a discussion on human papillomavirus (HPV).


Educational Objectives:

  • Discuss PMDs that affect the oral cavity
  • Discuss human papillomavirus-driven oropharyngeal SCCa and HPV-negative SCCa
  • Determine appropriate treatment plans for patients with PMDs and/or SCCas
