Dr. Simon Young is currently a full-time faculty member in the UTHealth Houston Katz Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As a surgeon-scientist, his clinical interests include maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, and his research lab focuses on biomaterials for both tissue engineering and cancer immunotherapy applications currently funded by research foundations, industry, and the National Institutes of Health.
